GIVES Fair: A Celebration of Community, Generosity, and Impact

On February 11, sixteen local nonprofit organizations gathered at Danos headquarters for our second Danos GIVES Fair. What unfolded was more than an event. It was a celebration of the people who serve our community every single day.

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere reflected intentional care. Conversation flowed easily. Smiles were shared. Time was set aside simply to honor them. More than the setting itself, what stood out most was the genuine sense of connection and appreciation.

Several nonprofit representatives expressed how meaningful it was to feel seen, supported and valued — not only through funding, but through personal encouragement. The GIVES Committee took time to recognize each organization’s mission and impact, reinforcing that they are not alone in their work.

One attendee commented, "Events like this remind me that good people are standing behind us— supporting us, believing in us and appreciating our dedication."

That reminder matters.

A highlight of the day came during the check reveal, when selected organizations were surprised with funding to support projects that will directly benefit those they serve. The gratitude and emotion in the room served as a powerful reminder of the purpose behind Danos GIVES.

The GIVES Fair reflects our commitment not only to invest in our communities, but to strengthen and encourage the organizations that make lasting change possible.
