Championship Flavor: Troy Granier and Team PES Wins in Overtime

The energy was high and the competition fierce as teams gathered for the 2026 SOUPer Bowl at Danos. What began as a friendly culinary showdown quickly turned into a championship moment, with teams bringing creativity, pride and teamwork to every pot.

But as the votes were tallied, a dramatic twist unfolded.  

There was a flag on the play. As ballots were reviewed and scores finalized later that day, referees realized the results were much closer than expected. What first appeared to be a clear win turned into an overtime finish, where every vote mattered. After a careful final count, the referees confirmed what everyone had been waiting for — Team PES had secured the victory in overtime. Their soup delivered the winning combination of flavor, craftsmanship and team spirit, earning them the title of 2026 SOUPer Bowl Grand Champions.
