Committee Builds Momentum Through Service and Shared Vision

The Seeds of Giving Committee closed out the year with a hands-on teambuilding and service day that underscored our commitment to community impact and employee-driven generosity. The team partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank in Houma, where they packaged a full ton of rice into two-pound bags— an activity that directly supports food-insecure families across our region.

Following the service event, the committee shifted into a collaborative working session focused on continuity and long-term value creation. We recognized our outgoing members for their leadership and welcomed our new teammates as they step into expanded roles for 2026 and years to come. The group also engaged in strategic vision casting, sharing individual perspectives on what Seeds of Giving could become over the next five years—from deeper volunteer engagement to new service partnerships and expanded outreach.

Committee members also heard personal reflections and encouragement from Chairman of the Board Hank Danos, who reinforced the importance of stewardship, purpose-driven leadership and staying grounded in the company’s legacy of service. A guest speaker, Director of Outreach & Engagement at MEI USA Coralyn Musser, joined to shared a proven service program model, offering actionable insights that can accelerate our own employee engagement initiatives.

With fresh ideas, renewed alignment and a strengthened sense of mission, the Seeds of Giving Committee is ready for the upcoming year. We look forward to activating more employees across the organization in 2026 as we continue cultivating a culture of generosity and community impact.
