Look Up

Ever notice how easy it is to move through your day without really seeing anyone? Eyes on our phones, minds on our to-do lists, we pass by strangers, coworkers, neighbors, even friends without really seeing them. In our rush, we can forget that one of the simplest ways to live out our faith is to look up and truly see the people God places in our path.
When we slow down long enough to truly see the people around us, something beautiful happens. A smile across the hallway, a kind word in the grocery line, a hand on a shoulder: these small gestures carry more weight than we realize. They quietly say, “I see you. You matter.”
“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
— Ephesians 2:10
The good we’re called to do often hides in ordinary moments. Each person who crosses our path offers us an opportunity to spread God’s love. Seeing others through His eyes has a way of softening our hearts, and we begin to notice His handiwork everywhere: in faces, in stories, in the shared moments that remind us we’re all connected.
🌿 TRY THIS WEEK
Look up.
Make eye contact.
Offer a smile.
Ask someone how they’re really doing.
Be the reason another person feels seen. You’ll bless others, and find your own day brighter in return, because you’ll be walking in the good works He prepared for you.
🌿 WANT TO GO DEEPER?
