Theriot's Summer Camp Bond

On July 20, 2025, General Manager of Supply Chain Services, Scott Theriot and his son Carson attended the Young Life Adventure Camp at Sharptop Cove in Jasper, Georgia. This Christ-centered summer camp, sponsored by Danos ROOTS, was designed for high school students and taught them all about Jesus - who He is, what He has done, how He loves us and how He seeks a relationship with us.

Scott said, "This camp has brought my son and I closer together. It's opened my eyes as a parent to see what our children deal with versus the things we dealt with as kids. I've also witnessed a change in our community's youth. Since returning from camp, I've seen the local youth really taking a different look at life. Many have asked for and participated in multiple bible studies and Young Life events. 19 of the 21 kids that attended this camp either gave their lives or rededicated their lives to Christ! You can really see these young adults spreading that love throughout the community. For our most recent bible study, almost 40 high school students showed up! Not only showed up, but dove in headfirst and participated fully in the conversations!"

This is a testimony on how the spark from one Christian-based summer camp can really light a fire in one young adult and his father and in turn set the whole young community a blaze for Jesus!

By funding the young life retreat for my son, it gave us an opportunity to see spiritual growth in him and his friends that we likely wouldn't have seen otherwise. It's a blessing that our organization provides these options that help further develop our families and, in turn, make our communities better," said Scott.
