Moments That Shape Us

At Danos, serving our communities isn’t an extra—it’s part of who we are. Danos WORKS turns every hour of volunteer service into something bigger: a tangible, measurable impact in the places where we live, work and care deeply.

We don’t just clock in and out; we show up. We give our time, energy and hearts to causes that matter. The Danos Foundation matches our service with a $10-per-hour donation to the nonprofits employees support. Every hour volunteered becomes both hands-on help and financial support that strengthens organizations doing meaningful work.

This spirit of service is especially visible within our information systems (IS) team. While we’re known for keeping technology running across the company, we also believe our role is bigger than systems and support tickets. As a team, we look for ways to step outside the  office and serve where help is needed most.

In 2025, the IS team partnered with Beacon Light Church for food distribution and the Firm Foundation, serving side-by-side to meet real needs in our community. We had the privilege of preparing and delivering cooked meals to Firm Foundation twice this year, and we also boxed and served food to help families access essentials with dignity and care.

These service events have become more than volunteer hours—they’ve become moments that shape us. It’s been a gift to get out as a team, bond over a shared mission and learn more about each other while helping others. We were a close team already, but serving together over the past several years has brought us even closer and has deepened our understanding of how organizations are addressing the needs in our communities.

We serve because it’s the right thing to do—and because we believe something deeper: we care for and serve others because we believe all people are created in the image of God. Through WORKS, every act of service becomes a step toward stronger communities and a reminder that when we show up for others, we’re building something that lasts.
