Halfway to Our Goal

At the start of 2022, Danos WORKS set a goal of having 1,947 employee volunteer hours logged to celebrate Danos' 75 years in business. As of early October, we are halfway there with 973 hours logged.

I encourage all employees to take a few minutes and go to our volunteer portal to log any hours you have volunteered.

Log Your Volunteer Hours

As a reminder, many organizations and activities are eligible to be logged. We have employees who assist with youth sports leagues, churches, Relay for Life, local community centers and more! If you have questions about what is eligible, please contact Katie Smith at kathryne.smith@danos.com.

In addition, we have a list of on-going volunteer opportunities that are available to anyone interested. These opportunities consist of local food banks, community centers, homeless shelters, etc.

We also keep a current list of applicants who have applied for our Danos GIVES grant. Some of these organizations have on-going opportunities for volunteering year-round. And occasionally we have non-profit organizations who reach out to Danos WORKS with volunteer requests. If you would like to give your time or skills, contact Katie for opportunities available.
