Making Waves: Larry Galloway’s 349 Hours of Service Empower Adaptive Skiers

Service is at the heart of who we are at Danos, and in 2025, one of our employees truly made waves in the community. Through 349 volunteer hours with Ski Dawgs Adaptive Water Skiing, Shelf Operator A Larry Galloway’s dedication helped create life-changing experiences for individuals with disabilities, giving them the opportunity to experience the freedom and joy of being on the water.

Founded in 2017, Ski Dawgs is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering athletes through adaptive water skiing. The organization hosts safe, fully supported clinics where participants of all abilities build confidence and community at no cost to their families. For Larry, this mission is personal.

“For the past seven years, I’ve proudly been part of Ski Dawgs,” he shared. “Being involved means helping others discover freedom and joy on the water—proving that limits can be overcome with the right support and determination. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful teamwork can be in helping athletes achieve things they never thought possible.”

Through the Danos WORKS volunteer program, Larry’s commitment translated into a $3,490 contribution to support Ski Dawgs. This investment helps the organization continue providing these unforgettable clinics and specialized equipment.

Larry notes that the drive to serve doesn't stop when he clocks in. “The same passion and commitment to making a difference carries into my professional life at Danos.
