Planting Purpose: AXion’s First Step into Seeds of Giving

A new chapter, rooted in giving

On May 13, 2026, AXion Logistics employees and their families gathered at the company's Pasadena, Texas site for the ROOTS Family Volunteer Event. This event also marked the introduction of many employees to the Seeds of Giving programs, following AXion's recent integration into the Danos family of companies.

The event supported Jane Around the World, a Pasadena-based nonprofit organization that serves young women aging out of the foster system and supports young women in the local homeless community through its street ministry. Volunteers worked together to pack 250 care bags filled with essential items for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Designed to introduce employees and families to the heart behind Seeds of Giving — building strong families while serving the communities where employees live and work — the event also included a shared meal, fellowship and children’s activities, creating a meaningful experience for all ages.

Many AXion employees expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve alongside their coworkers and families and shared interest in becoming more involved with Seeds of Giving and future volunteer opportunities within the Danos family.
