The Danos ROOTS program exists to provide the resources, tools and opportunities our employees need to grow—personally, spiritually and professionally—with the ultimate goal of building strong families.

One of the ways we support this mission is by offering sponsorships for employees and their families to attend Christian-based camps and retreats. Whether it’s children’s summer camps, marriage retreats, church retreats, or other Christian-based experiences that meet our criteria, we want to hear what best fits your family.

Since launching Danos ROOTS in 2024, many employees have attended a variety of camps and retreats, including ACTS church retreats, family camps at Sky Ranch, Young Life retreats for their children, and more. We’re interested in learning about the Christian-based events you’re considering and would love for you to apply.

To apply for a ROOTS sponsorship, visit the Seeds of Giving website and navigate to the ROOTS tab. Then click the “Apply for Funding” button under the “How to Get Involved” section. Now is the time to book many summer camps, and we don’t want you to miss out.

Here’s what some of our employees shared about their recent Christian retreats:

“One takeaway for me is that you are a light in the world. Even though you might not know who you are touching with that light, or feel like you aren’t contributing, you are—and you are enough.”

“Several of my friends who did not have a relationship with Jesus made a commitment while at camp. It drew us very close together.”

“My biggest takeaway from this event is that I was finally able to let go and truly believe and feel the love that God has for me. Believing that I am loved has been a struggle, and I left knowing it is undeniable. I wish every person could experience this incredible event.”
