Through Danos CARES, our employees have shown time and again what it means to support one another in times of need. The results of your generosity are not just numbers; they are stories of resilience, hope and compassion.
Making a Difference
So far in 2025 alone, we’ve distributed assistance to 11 individuals, totaling $16,500. Since 2017, CARES has funded 140 individual distributions, providing $165,000 in assistance to fellow employees.
When natural disasters strike or unforeseen emergencies occur, your donations have also helped us provide disaster assistance. Since 2017, you have supported employees through 500 disaster-related distributions, totaling $354,000.
Altogether, CARES has made 640 total distributions since its inception, providing a combined $519,000 in relief to employees across our organization.
This ongoing support has helped employees recover from house fires, medical emergencies, hurricanes, unexpected deaths of immediate family members and other personal crises – proving that Danos CARES is more than a program. It’s a reflection of our purpose and values in action.
Mission and History of Danos CARES
Danos CARES is an employee-driven initiative to help coworkers experiencing unexpected hardships. Its roots stretch back to 2013, when a group of employees came together to adopt local families in need during the holiday season. As our team grew, so did our focus. By 2017, with the creation of the Danos Foundation, the CARES fund evolved to focus entirely on supporting Danos employees, becoming a dedicated internal resource for our workforce.
Funded through voluntary payroll deductions and matched by company contributions, Danos CARES empowers coworkers to stand by one another during life’s toughest moments.
Thank you to every employee who contributes to CARES. These numbers tell a powerful story, not just of dollars given, but of lives uplifted. Your donations are helping people who may have hit a difficult moment and found comfort in knowing their Danos colleagues had their back. Thank you for being part of a culture that stands together, especially when it matters most.
